AFCAT Notification 01/2023: Indian Air Force has announced new opportunities for all eligible men and women to be a part of the Air Force as commissioned officers in flying and ground duty. The registration process for the duty will begin on 1st December 2022 and the last date for submitting the form is on 30th December 2022. All the aspirants who wish to do a job under the Indian Air force are welcomed by the administration to join the force. The authority has also invited online applications for NCC special entry scheme for the flying branch.
The application form will be accepted online mode only, there is no other way of submitting the form. The AFCAT course will begin in 2024 for short service commission in flying branches and ground duty. The application process for the new recruitment will begin soon on the official portal, all the candidates who wish to apply for the post can fill out the form online once the link is available on the portal. The authority will not accept any late submission of the form so make sure to submit it on the mentioned date only. After the application process is concluded then the management will be notifying the candidates about the further selection process and the exam date in the next notification.
The training for the Air Force will commence at the beginning of January 2024 at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad. The training period of the candidates for flying branch and ground duty (Technical) will be of 74 weeks and for Non- technical the period will be 52 weeks. The candidates have to carry all their documents with them on the day of joining the academy.

All the candidates who will be applying for AFCAT Notification will get selected for the recruitment process based on their qualifications which will be mentioned in the application form. The candidates who will qualify for the criteria will be called for the written exam, and the aspirants who will qualify for the written exam will be shortlisted for the next round. ext there will be an AFSB interview round in one of the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for an interview. The second round will take at least 5 days as it will consist of intellectual and mental tasks for all the shortlisted candidates.
After completing the given tasks the last the candidates will be called for an interview round, and the candidates who will be applying for NCC will be directly called for an interview round in the AFSB centre. After the interview round, the candidates will be called for a document verification process
